Gerald R. Skupin

Gerald R. Skupin devotes his legal practice to assisting those who have been injured in automobile collisions and assisting the families of those people killed in automobile collisions. Jerry joined Skupin & Lucas, P.C., as a litigation attorney in 2006.

Prior to his association with Skupin & Lucas, P.C., Jerry was the managing attorney of a staff counsel law office of a large automobile insurance company. He handled thousands of claims and lawsuits involving automobile collisions and insurance coverage disputes. The immense knowledge he gained of the inside workings of insurance companies has been turned to achieving excellent results for the clients of Skupin & Lucas, P.C.

In addition to specializing in all areas of automobile negligence and insurance coverage disputes, Jerry is very skilled in premises liability, including animal bites and attacks as well as boat and recreational incidents.

Jerry is an excellent communicator with an easy going manner that puts client’s at ease as he explains complicated legal principals in terms that are easily understandable. Jerry’s main focus is helping injured people obtain all the benefits to which they are legally entitled with an emphasis on the best possible results due to car and truck accidents.

Jerry graduated law school from the University of Detroit with honors in 1993. He joined the State Bar that same year and has also been admitted to the practice before the United States District Court in Michigan.
